I was speaking to Jeremy recently, from our Biology class.

He borrowed some of my notes to help with his own research.

Somehow, the conversation shifted toward how long we'd both been in the city, and it's come to my attention it will have been a year in December. I hadn't actually thought about it until now.

It's incredibly strange to think

I'd thought it all sounded a bit too familiar to merely be a coincidence.

He even introduced himself as Roderick and spoke of her. I cannot believe I didn't put it together any sooner.
